AggData Releases Florida Retailer Locations Potentially Affected by Hurricane Irma

Chris Hathaway

As the second-strongest ever recorded hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean, Irma is set to wreak havoc on Florida in the coming days. This comes on the heels of one of the largest natural disasters in U.S. history, with hundreds of retailers being forced to close their doors due to the flooding and destruction left behind by Hurricane Harvey. To help identify which retailers will be most impacted by Irma along its current most likely track, AggData has compiled a list of the Top 50 Retailers/Restaurants with exposure in Florida, including this group’s roughly 14,000 geo-coded locations in the state. Earlier today, Fox Business utilized Aggdata’s list to show companies with significant exposure, including Advance Auto (11.79%), Walgreens (10.43%), CVS (9.03%) and GNC (9.02%), Dunkin Brands (9.78%) and Wendy’s (8.17%). As indicated by the map there are many more in the storm’s path. To download the full list, please click here.
