New Features Include Real-Time Business Updates and Full Customization

AggData is pleased to announce enhancements to its cutting-edge Application Program Interface (API), which creates a seamless data bridge allowing users to integrate a variety of applications and environments with AggData’s information in real time. In light of the current retail environment, which includes retailers closing their doors at a record pace, those doing business in the space require improved access and integration of data at their fingertips. The enhanced interface enables customers to tailor the complex data to their needs, track and update the data feed to detect and access new updates as soon as they are available, and access and back-fill client databases with store location historical data archives.

The API’s new features include: simple RESTful queries for intuitive interaction with the library; access to a full timeline of new and updated lists, allowing for up-to-the-minute refreshes of business locations; and full customization of geography, category, response format, and more, to ensure the data returns in a way that best fits the client-side application. AggData understands that its customers need more than standalone datasets; they need a continuous stream of information, enabling them to make informed decisions.

In addition to its database of over five million locational records, AggData’s store-closing data is now available via the API. AggData monitors upcoming retail closings in real time, and its investigatory team performs extensive research to filter rumors and speculation to confirm details, as part of efforts to maintain an active database of locations and closing dates.
